VAPoly16 is a virtual analog bitimbral polyphonic synthesizer available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. This versatile tool boasts a 16-voice synthesizer alongside a suite of effects, sequencer, and audio visualization capabilities. It can function both as a stand-alone application and as an AudioUnit Extension (AUv3). When used independently, it offers support for Ableton Link, MIDI connectivity, and audio file exporting.

The synthesizer is comprised of two 8-voice modules, each featuring dual oscillators, two ADSR envelopes, resonant high-pass and low-pass filters, and individual amplifiers per voice. The oscillators boast a continuously variable wave shape and an extensive range of modulation options. To deliver a classic analog sound, the filters are modeled on the Sallen-Key filter circuit. Among its effects are delay, chorus, flanger, reverb, EQ, and compressor functionalities.

Its sequencer incorporates a piano roll and an automation editor for programming 16-bar patterns per clip. Project files are conveniently saved in iCloud Drive for seamless accessibility across iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices.
